faux xii project

Post by Hurb »

yeah so i never really finished this. After i painted it i went on holiday then started work. and i hated the colour so i never put it together. I planned on repainting it making a real scratchy and it would be done. but since i never got round to it , its sat in a gig bag. so i thought fuck it and put it together as is this very morn.

I still hate the colour and the finnish is not my best anyway but when strung up it has the rawk tonez so I'm gonna play it abit. probably wont sort out a scratchy till its painted so the wax will have to do.

What is it you don't like about the colour, I think it looks great? Nice job!

dunno, close up and irl i just dont dig it...maybe with a mint scratchy it may be different. but even so the paint i tried with this project just doesn't work very well.

I love the actual guitar though. its thinner than a jazzmaster and just really comfy.

I don't particularly like the colour either (though it's not awful!).
The guitar however, is ace :D
