I gave my JS to a local guy to send out for fretz many months ago.He jerked me around until I went to police today and threatened him.He miraculously coughed up my JS today. That's what happen.I dint even have to shoot him.WHAT HAPPEN ?!
Never, ever do that shite again thats fo shore.I'll have to learn how to do the frets myself.
well, did you get new frets? If so, did you pay him? Story-telling is all about the details, man.bassintom wrote:I gave my JS to a local guy to send out for fretz many months ago.He jerked me around until I went to police today and threatened him.He miraculously coughed up my JS today. That's what happen.I dint even have to shoot him.WHAT HAPPEN ?!

Beautiful job, smooth. The guy that did it knows his shit. The JS has the nicest frets of all my guitars.Cost $250.00 cuz the guy that did the first fret job was a butcher. And he set it up real good.
well, at any rate, I'm delighted that you got your guitar back!

All the luthiers I talked to around here charge about $300 for a refret.robert(original) wrote:250.00!!!!
thats a bit much,
usually even the best of luthier charge 15 a fret, and thats at the high end, since he took so long he should have only charged 10 a fret, top end.
but if it plays welll and you are satified then its worth it.
