pickup ideas for the blazer? (new pickguard btw)

So, (IMHO), it's the sexiest thing since sex. I had Jeannie pickguards from ebay make it. came out a'right.

However, I hate every humbucker I own. since this is my only humbucker spaced guitar I need to make some important decisions....it makes it difficult that I'd probably prefer an F-spaced pickup in the bridge due to the wide spacing on the saddles. Here's some ideas I've had so far.

GFS Dream 90s, for neck and mid
GFS Retrotron pickups for all 3 positions.
Lace Alumitones for all 3 (I've done some reading up though, and I doubt I'll go with these. They would look awesome though.
GFS split humbucker for all 3 (however, if gfs don't say "alnico" usually means they're not.)
Gibson '57 classic, at least for the neck position. I've played them before and they sond kool.

Any other ideas? I'm normally a single coil guy but I want a fatter sound with as much clarity as possible.

Totally, or you could even throw 3 of those split pickups in there John5 style. Or, get 3 P90's and wire a 5 way strat toggle.

Speaking of Jeannie pickguards, I had a b/w/b one made for my Jagmaster not too long ago. They're some friendly people over there, and I thought it came out pretty damn perfect.

I have a GFS fat PAF zebra in the bridge in my guitar and it is a decent pickup. Not quite as crunchy as I would like but decent for the money.

First and foremost, it needs a graphite nut and a Sprague orange drop. Maybe some CTS Alpha 500k pots.

Have you considered putting an original style Floyd on it?

I'm actually probably gonna dew the orange drop if I order the pickups from GFS. it's only $4 for two, and I need new caps anyway, why not get the kind with the most snob appeal?

There's an orange drop in my mustang that sounds amazing. I don't know if it's due to the orange drop, but it sonds trill.

I put an Orange drop in my Strat and it's lost a lot of jangle since. I blame the Orange drop, and the estate of Iceybytes.

is your strat wired standard 1vol 2tone?

If so, it shouldn't have any effect on your bridge pickup whatsoever.

No, I changed it to 1 volume, 1 tone, which most likely is what caused the change. How does that work then?

Normally on a strat the tone knobs are for the neck and middle, and the bridge is bypassed. The fact that you are running it through a capacitor now is cutting off some of your high end.
