Dedicated Marshall Vintage Modern Forum...
I apologise if this is tacky, but I thought there might be some interest here that I started a board for the Marshall Vintage Modern.
I have to admit that, given some of the people who are starting to use the VM, I'm going to have to take a closer look, myself!
Thanks.

Update...
Just an update to add that we now have SteveD, the Vintage Modern Designer, onboard at The Vintage Modern Forum!

Nice forum indeed. Altanon also started the JVM410.com forum which is awesome - they even have the DESIGNER of the JVM posting on there to answer questions - which is amazing.
I really like the Vintage Modern, heard some great clips, haven't played one yet as when I went to try out the JVM in london before i ordered one I just played that for 30 minutes before being thrown out. Saw one recently in Turnkey I think and the purple tolex is lush - plus the tolex old school plexi style front - I like them, nice amps. When they make standard black ones with grillcloth I bet the purple ones will be very expensive.
I see the JVM as a TSL upgrade/replacement and the Vintage/Modern as a rethink on the DSL.

Well, thanks Mike! But I'm afraid that I cannot take credit for the JVM410 Forum, I'm just a Moderator there, (Member Number 15.)Mike wrote:Nice forum indeed. In fact, I stole the idea of having the amps' designer, (SteveD, for the Vintage Modern,) onboard from them!
It was just too good an idea! Well ... I did see Bruce Egnater posting as a member on the Egnater/Randall board, and Steve Freyette on the VHT board, but that's a little different; most of the boutique amp makers are on their own boards.
For a couple of years, I've been advocating a closer relationship between the amp makers and the people who actually use them, (or, at least, take the time to write about them, anyway!)
But thanks again for your kind words about The Vintage Modern Forum, hope to see y'all there!
