I know, it's a shame it's so inconvenient and expensive for everyone outside of the UK it seems - it's the one benefit we have - UK amps. There are no decent mid-range UK guitar manufacturers, only cheap copies and handmade pricey jobs. So on Fender guitars and US Amps we get literally fucked.

You are forgetting about Gordon Smith, he manages to make guitars at a decent price and does Fender and Gibson styles.

Thats just the pictures. If you ask they'll do it without, because everything is pretty much handmade you can be anything pretty reasonable made up.

They range from £550 to £650 depending on the finish you want. You can have all gloss, satin or standard, which I believe is gloss top satin back and sides.

Still in the pricey bracket.

Fender Classic Baja Player Tele with 4 way switching and S1 switch and great pickups - £390.

True enough. Mansons used to have a true budget line but stopped that a long time ago.

Well, what are you after? The marquees and batwings are around £300, going up to about £600 for some of the other models like the Jet-Sonic (not your thing) and the Sonic. I've seen the Sonic for £500, though, and it really is a seriously nice piece. You'd be paying £800-£900 for a guitar like this with a Fender decal on it, easily.

That is pretty nice. It's just a little too HEY for me I think. It's all that chrome bridgeys. They're cheaper than I thought though
