his buddy max finished the mandolin the nignt befor he left, and we were up until 2am. He fell in love with all my effects :lol:

and my parts caster.
I hate the semi fretless neck, but I'll keep playig on it and see if it grows on me. I may just pull the rest of the frets of and see how that works

whats the neck like?
it seems like its at least functional, im suprised at how well it seems to fit the neck pocket.

There were some really high frets I had to file down quite a bit, but it's definantly playable. I cant really get used to the fretless part though. The wound strings sound alright, and the unwound ones do i you use your fingernail.

that kinda sucks.
i bet if the neck had an angle like an archtop the unwound strings would vibrate better, maybe. maybe not.
you seen the videos of the fellow with the glass fingerbaord?
ever heard of the moors? he plays a fretless geeter.
