Anyone seen these about? I swear I saw 'em in guitar magazines a number of years back- basically a hard plastic hardcase that doubled as a riser for your cab..
I'm slightly more concerned about the head being toppled off somehow, but I guess that'd apply to any form of riser that isn't up against a wall really..
It's not like 2 inches is gonna make a difference though- I've had casters on it before. I just hate not being able to hear myself properly because I'm only 4 feet in front of my amp. In that scenario, I have to turn up, and it just makes for far too much volume onstage and outfront- a mistake I've seen a million bands make in the past.
I pretty much always sort out some kind of riser for it anyways, but it'd just be nice to have something in tow so I don't have to go without. Doesn't matter really, I was kinda just thinking out loud.
That some small fucking casters. Casters uncouple the cab from the ground. I like to have my cab flat on the deck for maximum bass response but you'll get increased projection at the same volume with Casters.
