A Slow Weekend and a Boss SD-1

Post by Sammy »

Well basically, some time last year, I baught a Boss SD1 second hand, and it had a few scratches and marks when I had it off the guy. But after the time I'd been using it, it got worse.

So I thought, should I touch it up? Or re-spray it. But no, I had a better idea, and I did this:

Basically, this is a photo timeline of what I did, starting with how it was, going thru, what I did to it, and what its like now.

I really would have liked to buff it using a polishing wheel, but mine stopped working today =/.

I'm really glad you posted so many pics, I would have not understood what you were doing otherwise.

Serious though, looks cool. I did that to a beatup old Tokai OD pedal, it's MYSTERIOUS!
