some pictures of it:
I still think this is an ace guitar. The one I saw in person in Toronto was wicked.

Apparently it was originally sunburst, then he primed it grey and painted it black (as was the common parlance according to Jagger and co.)
Then pure punk rock awesomeness wore the paint to shit.

For me it's gone completely round the loop.
So fucking ugly that I like it.

there's something about buying a brand new guitar with rusted parts. it's incompatible with my logic.

Oh me too. Relicing is stupid as all get out. I rust stuff up pretty good with acid sweat and negligence anyway, there's no need.
I just like this guitar because it's an affordable unique looking Tele.

We've had a few in at my GC, I think we still have one.
I like em loads, but the rust factor is something I can't get around. They play and sound like buttah though. After seeing one in person I'm always thinking I'd like to buy a squeer and relic it in a similar manner, it looks fun and the outcome is cool.

i acutally played one at gc a couple months ago the funny part is it was ona display rack next to some squires and i picked it up and bumped it on an affin tele and the guy kinda jumped up and said "hey be careful with that" and then 2 seconds later he realized it was a relic'ed tele that bumped into an 80 dollar tele.

Roach hates it. I loves it. It comes with some silly sticker set, but it looks best as is.

I really like worn finishes on some guitars. That tele looks so bombdidlyicious. I oft thought about taking some sand paper to my bullet strat and having ago.

that looks bonerlicious indeed. agreed about the rusted hardware, but the finish itself looks like punk rawk in true action.

I saw one in a shop a few days ago and the relicing just looked so fake. I like the relicing fender do on hardware and necks, but I've never liked the paint.
