So VoxAC30, Marshall, Bassman, Mesa, and Ampeg VT?

Tech 21 introduces their new SansAmp Character Series consisting of five pedals: Blonde, British, California, Liverpool, and VT Bass. With artistically unique looks, these pedals commemorate a range of eras for specific amplifier personalities. By simply twisting a few knobs, you can build the most sought-after tones and hot rod your own. From rare vintage classics to roaring modern icons, every variation is delivered in the distinctive voicing of that amp style.

Each of the continuously-variable Character controls sweeps through an entire tonal range of possibilities. The Blonde tones range from the '50s Fullerton to blackface and silverface. The British spans from the '60s to classic hard rock. California delivers tones from the late '70s to early '80s Bay Area mods to modern metal. The Liverpool celebrates the '60s mop top invasion through the '70s "Bohemian" rock. And the VT Bass pumps out early '60s flip top to classic "super valve" to high gain indie rock.

Being genuine SansAmps, each Character Series pedal can be used as a stand-alone pre-amp to drive a power amp, a studio mixer, or a PA system, or used as a stompbox with an amp. Other features include built-in speaker simulation, which is individually tuned to match each of the speaker/cabinet configurations associated with each type of amplifier; 3-band active EQ, Drive and Level controls; and 100% analog circuitry.

Each are operable with 9V battery (not included) or optional DC power supply (Tech 21 Model #DC2). Manufactured in the U.S.A. MSRP: $195.00.

Liverpool is quite a commonly used name for Amps and Pedals in the upper-mid chime department for obvious reasons.

Obviously I think that's awesome.

Unfortunately Bletchley or Milton Keynes doesn't have the same cachet, so British it is for the Black and Gold Tops.

I've never heard "Liverpool" used to describe Beatletonez. Normally just "60's British" or something, but yeah, like you say, the Voxeses and the Bletchlycore amps are pretty different sounding, WE NEED TO DIFFERENTIATE
