fender blender rehouse.

Post by Hurb »

If you remember I bought that blender clone of doog ages ago, love it..but it often gets knocked off the board because it is huge! Long story short, last night I rehoused it in a smaller case(from an ehx octave multiplexer that I dont use I really should of bought a new box like) It was a very tight squeeze I had to resolder the led as the wires were to short. and I had to undo and rewire the power jack as its one you have to feed through the whole from the outside. when I first put it all together there was no sound..But It was just something shorting out(everything is so closely packed. so I put a bit of paper between the 2 bits of metal. and now it works yay!

sorry only took a crappy phone pic, You will see I had to redrill a few holes also, like the jacks at the top(they used to be at the side) and the foot switch had to be moved down to fit the circuit in. the tone boost switch is inside as I never used it, but I may use a toggle switch with it instead.

big size difference!

Kicked them to the Hurb.

Sorry.

Nice work, good cramming. Lucy obviously built that thing solid.

aye, tracks horribly only single note stuff. it does sound more organic than say the oc-3 but the tracking is that bad i never used it.

I will check it still works (it took a bit of pulling to get out) If you want it it will cost you a beer at the next meet.

Hmmmm, I guess it it's pretty lousy, there's not much point, aside from building it into a feedback loop or somethings.

Thanks all the same dewd, good jeorb on the rehoWSE.

ver' nice. I can dig it. The toggle switch for the boost is a good idea. It probably worth it just to be able to change tones once in a while but I never really used it (on my ex-singer's reissue) either. HE was never able to pull of using that thing properly anyway.

They are I guess, this one at least doesn't have the volume drop that the reissue does. I am embarrassed for fender that they let it on the market with such sucky volume.

Releasing any dirt pedal with less than unity volume is retarded.
