I say refinish it. Along the lines of what Mike said, it's not like it came naturally, it's a finish flaw. You've got the know how, do it rite.

i think i read somewhere about drop-filling. never tried it though. i think the idea is to just drop big blobs on scratches, dings, or dents and then wetsand them smooth.
might work better than spraying if your can is nearly empty.

Ive got brass.....
Had to work a bit with the neck pocket but managed to work good.
Thanks to everyone who helped out. I managed to get the scratch off somewhat, but at least it's painted over

i toyed with the idea with Daphne...but man....fiesta red <3. looks so much better in person too.

see the difference? It sort of eases in with the matching headstock now. That was actually a 51 neck that I reshaped the profile somewhat on. I really love it more than the real telecaster neck that I have.
