Tomorrow , yeey.

Post by izodiak »

Again me with silly questions, but here it goes, tomorrow Im ordering three pedals, some very basic ones, because so far Ive used the effects on my super efficient Vox Valvetronix 50 amp, so I wanted to buy some of the basic pedals and try things out, so my list goes
• Danelectro FAB overdrive
• The Danelectro reel echo
• And the freshly demoed Behringer Fuzz, I know these are cheap pedals, but I just want to try things out, and the sounds Ive heard from them are nice.. to my mind at least, maybe You have some suggestions on my list, to make it more effective (ha) and yea.. From what to start.. my budget is about ~100 pounds (about 200 dollars)

You will be happy with all those pedals I think. Don't be put off by cheapness. use your cheap pedals with pride!!!

i had a reel echo for half an hour, before it died. it really did sound like a tape echo, but doesnt do that crazy self-oscilation stuff that a real one does.

i'm getting a superfuzz too, thanks to hurbs wicked demo.

Hurbs demo was awesome, convinced me to do this step.. am, so I should look for a echo/delay pedal more sturdy.. Or You had some strange problem.. or ?

i think mine was just faulty it just stopped working, danelectro pedals are really good normally. i still love my PB&J delay pedal, but it's current unused since i got my echo park. i still think i'll get another reel echo, it was just so warm.

Yes, thats why I chose the danelectroes.. its nice, adds something to the sound. So I hope all these electronics in plastic casings will suit my needs.. at first.. If any more suggestions on what to add or replace.. Im listening..(reading, yes, reading, listening sounds creepy)

depends if it's gear listening or the sounds of people getting it on kinda listening lol

yes, that was my evil plan, to rehouse them as soon as I get them, cause I dont like the design either a lot.. its nice, but I would like the simple aluminum with some color stripes as marking, nice and easy. Yes listening to gear others propose, but like standing by the PC, with evil eyes and listening .. like... well. Ok, not important.

i keep meaning to rehouse my french toast pedal, which is basically a foxx tone machine. but i'm selling alot of stuff to cut down and keep just what i need, so makes the exercise pointless

When I started I was all about Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, a bit of The Who, well You get the picture.. then I was into some lovely stuff to play and sing, like some of Cohen, Barrett, Niel Young, aaand.. yea.. now Im in all that a bit mashed together with bit of the 70s, punk , Richard Hell.. Modern Lovers kind of mix.. haha.. yes.. but basically I still play a lot of acoustic finger picking/singing, electrical guitar is to am, rock out in my basement, haha.. yes, funny, I know.

hammond organ is so nice, Im trying to push my bandmate to get the Korg microkorg vocoder, it has a great possibility of funny synth pop noises.. I must push harder, cause it is filled with possibilities, thats my opinion.. the hammond organ has the best electrical organ sound I can think about.. very nice. But I have little church organ in my house.. haha, I dont know really how to play them, but the sound is very nice.. its got all the "pipes" and whistles, and a man powered "lung".. haha.. (the blower, or how to call it in english) great organ.
