Post by jcyphe »

The retro effects market is making a big comeback.

Ibanez re-issued this pedal, but only 777 units.

Some of these new ones are already are on ebay.

just of the old one

Fiveways alerted me that these were also branded Maxon. Maxon used to make a lot of the Ibanez pedals if not all of them for a time and also that Maxon has re-issued the Jetlyzer Flanger in a 9 series style housing.

Mine (and Frans) Ibanez Fl301 flangers are internally labeled as Maxons I'm pretty sure. 808 style housings. Frans is nicest sound flanger I've used. Briefly to test it like.

Cool to see the funkay old butterfly logo getting some use.

Checkitout..... old Ibanez "Super 80" pickup on me '78 Musicmaster.... Hard to see in this photo, but the butterfly's stamped into the metal cover. The pickup was originally on an Ibanez "Artist" hollowbody. I don't know if it was the bridge or neck pickup. I bought it from the "Artist" owner when I was a kiddo hacking up a Musicmaster.

We just got 2 in at work a few days ago, and i busted it out and plugged it into a supersonic and a Hotrod deluxe.

It's one of the best sounding phasers i've ever heard, Also the Panning sounds Great! i really love the way this pedal sounds. i want one, but we only got 2 and Ibanez was only accepting orders at NAMM. The only downfall is the Pedal is MASSIVE! larger than a DMM.

But it really does sound great
