Classic 30 distortion channel not working...

... I have no sound what so ever coming' from the second channel on my peavey classic 30 amp.

It's less than a week old... anyone know from experience what could be wrong ?? Clean channel is absolutely fine.

tubes ??

any help would be much appreciated.

Take it right back to the shop. 2 weeks old isn't even worth your time in Debugging it, but the preamp tubes would be my first test, then the relays used in the channel switching.

Result on the amp... straight replacement, and in the original colour I was after- black tweed.

Should be delivered to the shop tomorrow, but will probably collect on monday, result !! :)

I was told by our peavey rep that there was a dodgy batch of classic 30's so take note.
