That mic position is pretty much industry standard.. you close mic as close to teh grill cloth as possibe without touching, and I experienced no grumble. I am a full-on advocate.
Dopeness. Now if I can find a few 57s for cheap...

Have you gigged with the TT?

My Bassman is way too loud for a lot of shows and I'd like an Orange Tiny Terror to play the quieter 20-40 people shows.
