these are the deals that make ebay worth being around.
that is awsome
a buddy of mine got a fucking tree of authentic qtr sawn bras rosewood cut pre 67 and air dried ever since for like 26 bucks and then 60 bucks for shipping, it was enough to get 3 back and side sets, 1 archtop back and side set, and like 4 fingerboards.
you figure that for soemthing like that a noted luthier will pay upwards of 150 bucks just for the fingerboard,
he gave me a back and side set for helping him cut it, and that shit sells for like 450.00 in the size that i have it in.
i do however feel guilty about keeping it.

Ok either he's a moron or he's doing that to avoid attention to a stolen instrument.

Agreed. I know a few people who profit well from misspelled eBay listings.purplehaze19x wrote:LOL, No, i dont think it was stolen. the guy gave me his number and i called him, he knew the guitar and seemed pretty cool, sounded like an older guy. ...and if buy some chance it happend to be stolen, Karma wont get me, because i bought it fair and square, Karma will get who ever stole it.Mike wrote:I'm so right. Shes a beauty. My '66 doesn't look half as good. It, actually looks EXACTLY like the blue one in your avatar purplehaze! Mine was white, and was refined in "peel easy" blue. I paid just under $400 for mine a few years ago.
Love the devil red on yours though. Mustangs with black pickups are the best looking imo.
Some folk will never sell a gem, but then again, some folk'llMike wrote:He couldn't even read the Fender on the headstock? I'm not buying it - that guitar is stolen.
