that's just gear envy from some obviously jealous cunts.
i mean it doesnt really matter what you use, as long as it sounds good. but to be fickle that becuase i have the blues deluxe and not a deville, means i'm up my own arse is fucking stupid. i just chose the one that i liked the sound of and doesnt shake itself to pieces after 6 months lol
the stupid thing is that by giving a fuck about you having different gear than they approve of, they're actually the snobs.

because most of them when i said something similar, they reminded me that bernard bulters was a 355 and had a bigsby, which makes it indie lol :D same with jonny marr lol
i think statements like that mean it would be totally legal to shoot all of them directly in the face.
if only i could do a basil fawlty and insert a large garden gnome in them :D

Fuck their snobbery.

Smile, and ask them: if you are the snob, how come it is they who are offended by your gear?

Whenever people talk in this way I just start playing AC/DC riffs over them really loud. It works pretty good.

buy it. It is a great pedal and is basicly a overdrive and a lead boost in one. Can't go wrong at that price. I have used them before and they are just a nice solid OD pedal. It is based poosely on a tubescreamre I think, but is much much more than that.

There's no question that if you can get Fulltone stuff for cheaper than it typically sells for, it's a good deal. The pedals are awesome, the prices are not. The whole way it's presented is a bit snidey, but what ya gonna do. Sounds you want for sale, if that ends up being the simplest route, do it to it.

As for your friends calling you the snob, have you pointed out that they're part of the derby emo/indie scene and are therefore obliged not to come to you with their problems, but go home and write about it in a leather-bound notebook and re-dye their hair instead? Seems to me they've got their priorities a bit fucked. I'll bet what with all the finger-pointing and ridicule, they haven't had time to paint their nails with a permanent felt-tip in over a week.

I tried one on a cookin' drive channel years ago and found it pretty similar to the typical tubescreamer-type, but the additional boost channel added even more fun. Not my fave per se, but useful for some classic tonez. I'd go for it if in your shoes.

hey all, sorry i havent been on much, working nites at the moment, outside in the freezing cold building sheds, greenhouses, decking. fucking sick of it.

anyway, to cut a long story short, i have purchased the fulldrive 2, waiting to really play with it. i'm hoping that it will do what the blues driver was missing, though if it's a little too tube screamer esq (ie the mid hump) i might sell it on.

and as for the emos, well several cutting remarks and the threat of shortscalers have brought them down a peg or two. plus i dropped my flightcase on some emo bands singers converse-covered feet :D

Don't worry what people think. If you like it and how it sounds that is all that matters. Don't put stock into what others think.
