im not a strat sort of guy, but i dig that, honestly it looks bad as fook!
the maple neck would add a bit of sexiness to it......
but its not needed, is that new u.s. strat?
it's MIM classic Players 60's strat. kinda like what they did to the baja tele but to a strat. it's got a better trem system, 60's custom shop pick ups, aged parts, large 60's neck, jumbo frets. it's a custom shop designed guitar.
i have this thing about rosewood necks, though if i play teles it has to be maple. i love maple necked teles.

im the same way,
i do live rosewood for a few reasons
1. there is no finish on them so you can't mess up the finish
2. super easy to refret
3. super easy to repair in general
4. basically they are just easier to work with.
but i definitly think ALL tele's should have a maple neck, don't ask why, its just something that got embedded into my brain a LONG time ago.

the only little niggle i have at the mo is that the neck is super glossy, though it'll wear off in time lol.
i just love a maple neck tele, rosewood just seems werid on a tele, to me at least lol.

this one had only been in a couple days before i brought it, it's just so amazing, been a long time since i've had something this good. i got them to chuck in a tweed case to match my amp. lol

I had one of those and loved it - very nice! I especially enjoyed that you can drop a tension spring down before you screw the trem in (there should be one in your case candy, if not pester the dealer) so the arm stays where you put it. Check the back of the p'ups - if they're marked "AY" then they were made (sort of) by the same lady who wound Hendrix's p'ups. MOJO!
(I expect Hurb can tell the difference between AY and non-AY wound p'ups x)
I like it, a lot. How many bones if you don't mind me asking? I like Rosewood on Sonic Blue.
i paid £389 for it, was orignally 499 down to 449. my mate works at the shop so i got him to discount it further. i know that squire guitars are good for the money, but fuck me a real fender is so much worth it. that and my danelectro will make my main guitars. though i've fell in love with a MIM sonic blue mustang re-issue.
