why trouble to cut it when its killing the view.

I wouldn't buy it cause I might cut myself on the pickguard anyway.

Their are plenty of ways to improve a strat. That horrid pickguard is not one of them :p

I improved my strat with:

lace sensor gold pickups.

LR Baggs x-bridge/ctrl-x piezo bridge.

and an old Ibanez Blazer maple neck.

I should have put this in there...

as it was all tongue in cheek humor.I have 3 strats..the only thing I don't really like about them is teh tremolizers.A strat is like a playground,there are so many options to have fun with it.
