squier tele mod

Post by Justin J »

about a month ago i got bored and routed my old affinity telecaster for a humbucker in the neck position. i have no idea as to the make of the pickup, i pulled it out of my bronco. but it sounds really good.
then on saturday, i had the idea of putting a second tele bridge pickup in the middle position. so i went ahead and did that today. i only had the original pickup to the guitar, but eventually i'd like to put in a good one. the bridge pickup is a gfs mega vintage or whatever.
i haven't wired it up yet, but tomorrow i'll buy a 5-way strat switch and put the whole thing together.
anyway, here are some pictures:

Looks awesome, but I have to ask: did you strip the paint with a screwdriver?
