They make valve amps too that are pretty bitching little combos.

The YCV combos that Traynor makes are very nice for the price.
I recently just got my first all tube amp and its a Traynor YCV 40 and its very sweet.

I've also been on a Traynor hunt. Built like fucking tanks and apparently take pedals really well.

I see.............on most other sites too.

True enough...I have though two great tube combos already

If you're playing at home the Vox AD30VT (not the new wanky one with UberMetal sounds) is a wonderful amp - it won't keep up with a drummer but it will give you a great array of sounds at home, and they record really well.
full band Mike....just the room is small.

I'm thinking about plunking down on this.

I've always wanted a mesa boogie
currently it's up to 510 + 50 s&h

if I go for this though (bidding ends tomorrow) I'd sell my Marshall

thoughts on the Mesa?
Mike wrote:They're great amps, those early Mesas. it won't be cheap though.

Have you also looked at Traynors? They're very affordable and great amps in the US.
Just missed it Mike....I went to 625 but someone had 625 before me and I didn't want to go any higher.
there are some other boogies I might go for.
there is a subway rocket reverb mint for buy now 500
also some locals on Craigs list has the studio 22 with and without EQ for 450 and 550

any thoughts?
