In Respect Of Mike's Loss, What gear do you miss the most?
with mike's selling of the jvm, it's triggered memories of gear that i really miss or regret getting rid of.
top of the pile for me would be my epiphone sg junior, which was such a great pick-up and play guitar and my squire duo-sonic that was nicked.
tell us your stories of love and loss.

Good idea for a thread.
I'll miss the JVM. I don't really miss the guitars I've sold because they weren't right for me:
Jag-stang, Jazzmaster, Riviera.
I miss my Squier Jazz Bass, which J now skillfully plays in Sell Crazy.
Amp wise the DSL401 and me just didn't mesh well - althuogh I miss the Vox AD50VT which was an excellent practise and recording amp, but I didn't rate it as much in a live situation.

I had a black Epiphone Firebird VII. I traded it for something at a store because the pickups were like really low output. I would play the shit out of that thing if I had it now.
I had like $3000-4000 worth of equipment pawned off by an ex band member. That still hurts.
That includes my Peavey Classic 30 and a Midnight Wine mexi Strat that was really good.
Also a Laney solidstate head that was cool. two EV Eliminator subwoofers. yamaha mixer. 10+ mic stands. insane amounts of cords and shit. lights. and a bunch of other shit.

Pretending to misunderstand the question, I dearly regret selling this bike:
It had a Stan Stephens stage 3 tune on it, and it flew. Would wheelie in third gear (this is impressive in a stroker). On the other hand, I would have died on it, and I shortly after used the car I bought instead to pull a lady.
In terms of guitars, I'm so happy with my Jazzmaster that I see all the guitars I sold on the way to getting it as collateral damage. I do however, wish I still had my IBM Jag:
Sadly sold to buy a new mountain bike and a Tokai SG when my first child was on his way. I suppose the kit I miss the most is my old Rat - a late 80's LED model, it was my first decent pedal. I flogged it the same time I sold the Jag, just wish I kept hold - no massive buyer's remorse, though.

i think there's always the one's that get away/slip through the fingers. i loved my vox cambridge 30, it would record really well, but the build was shocking. it self destructed many years ago.
i've only had four amps in my playing life, first was a frontman 15r, then the vox, then a marshall mg100dfx which i used like a power amp really and lastly the blues deluxe, which i adore but i've fell for the vintage modern combo and have to decide between that and the deluxe.

I've never sold anything that I really miss that much. The only stuff I've sold is:
Sonic Blue Fender Mustang CIJ
Squier Jagmaster - the new shortscale one, not a vista but better than the scumbag
OLP stingray bass copy
Alvarez acoustic - sold to RobOg
Fender Princeton 112 plus
Peavey Bandit
Peavey Nitrobass halfstack
I've sold all this stuff to help pay for better stuff so I don't really miss it. I sold the mustang to get my SG, and I never really liked that guitar, defintiely not as much as my Comp stang reissue. The jagmaster I never played and sold it along with my Peavey nitrobass halfstack and OLP bass to help pay for my new bass rig. The Alvarez I sold because after I bought my Taylor I never played it, and I needed money. The Fender princeton sucked, and I sold it to pay for the bandit, and then I sold that to pay for my Triple XXX.
