Other than the poo colour, what's the difference between this one and the AVRI?

That's it? It doesn't take much for a guitar to be a signature model, these days. I shouldn't complain though: at least its not yet another strat or tele.

I love it. I think its great, if only for the fact that its a readily available AVRI in a different finish.

It does look pretty badass. But a weaker spring? I'd change that out for a stronger one.

How to make your own EC signature jazzmaster-

Strip your AVRI with a heat gun.

Stain it.

FUck up the tremelo system.

Youre done!

its brown and all?
what do you mean?
do you think you all my guitars are brown or something?
if i can get better wood than fender then they should at least have 2 peice bodies.
the guitar itself is cool, but the repro is kinda lame the more i thin about it.

That was quite a cool video. I like Costello.

He goofed on the Cobain association. 'I think Kurt Cobain played a Jazzmaster at one time, I know he definitely played Duo-Sonics'

That was a great video. I really think fender should've made the guitar in the background though, with the marlin burst finish. Know it's the same one, but I think at this point in time more people think of the current finish when they think of his jazzy.

It's like the same mistake fender made when the reissued Lenny out of all SRV's guitars.

I would totally buy a jazzmaster with this finish and play the heck out of it, just not a new one.

With "Elvis Costello" inlays would have been more appropriate too.
