They do that to try and appeal to the stoner rock posse or something. Or the recently upsurge in popularity of Orange amps for Screamo and such. Who knows? I agree with you that it's stupid though. The Overdrive heads aren't getting any cheaper.

Yeah. Instead of two Big Cheese clones me and Doog got sent the Orange Peel kits. The OLC guy was cool he sent out the Chunky Cheeses straight away and is paying for the return shipping.

Should have known it would go tits up. I ordered them.

I know I keep harping on about it, and I'm starting to feel like I'm fighting a bit of a rearguard action, but Mike at OLC is a very cool, together guy - think of this as a blip. The pedal will be well worth it, I promise.
