Call me Wierdo
I Was thinking about an Sum Passive trebble booster
Sum shit like
Mustang Controls :
Neck-Both-Bridge /////// Humb Split - Series - Paralell /////
Plate Controls :
Vol-Pushpull no1 (Off Phase) /// Tap-O-Matic-Pushpull no2 (sum passive Trebble Booster)
(PS. The Tap o matic is that , ) looks amazing , http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/2194/sum96tipqj6.jpg
don´t tell me it´s impossible
see an example , Roy Buchanan At monster Tribute to elmore
see the treble booster in action :

what a hell you talking ice ? is be far roy buchanan guitar was an sum trebble booster thing and custom pickups where i saw that ? Fender forum be far and i saw an some guy got the guitar in hands , did clone of pickups and got how it´s maded and selling was Nancy's Heart , http://www.buckcannon.com/ if is an lie i do no , i don´t hear in person to get ...
example of an wierdo mid booster , http://www.guitar-mod.com/rg_passive.html
i want do some shit like that , anyone got any ideia how i can do an treble booster over 6 pins of an pullpull ? Capacitors ? Resistors ? any thing like that ?
sincere ...

Re: Call me Wierdo, thinking about an Sum Passive trebble boo
I've done this. It's crap, theres no taper to it, and why should there be? A coil is either grounded properly or not. You are better off with a switchiCEByTes wrote:

this looks like a simple passive wah circuit. interesting.iCEByTes wrote:example of an wierdo mid booster , http://www.guitar-mod.com/rg_passive.html
Sublimedo its impossible
or just use low output single coils for treble. We do.

cut bass will be nice idea , i don´t knew how i gonna do that on an push pull but whatever
and about single coils , my jag gonna have an Seymour Duncan Lipstick SLSn , is low output far i knew was gigantic treble and jangle sound
wood of guitar was Ash neck is maple , both boost treble
but i was hungry and wanting more and more and them i thinking about the treble mod
i gonna check jaguar shematic

not impossible be far ...Sublimedo wrote:treble boost is the same as a bass cut, depending on how you look at it.

actually was an switch , modded mustang switchs wiringSublimedo wrote:I've done this. It's crap, theres no taper to it, and why should there be? A coil is either grounded properly or not. You are better off with a switchiCEByTes wrote:

neck-both-bridge // Split - Series - Paralell
Phase-off at push pull , works when Both pickups are "on"
so the tapping thing don´t works

With the right capacitor and method you can get your tone knob working just like a wah. (in the Low-pass range, anyway)
thats my point i dont gonna pay price of an duncan pickup on pot whit capacitors lol
thats why i tryng develop my self booster or bleeder o matic or something like
if i ........ put one .015 capacitor and one 750k resistor like that , http://www.projectguitar.com/tut/potm.htm
on the push pull , some risk i fry the pickups ? haahahhaha

Re: Call me Wierdo, thinking about an Sum Passive trebble boo
Kudos. The little transformer, as cool as it is, is probably the best you can do for a high pass filter, but will ultimately not work as good as you'd probably like. Bass Cut is simple and works great.iCEByTes wrote:thats why i tryng develop my self booster or bleeder o matic or something like
Re: Call me Wierdo, thinking about an Sum Passive trebble boo
is possible an comb of true bypass and bass cut ?Sublimedo wrote:Kudos. Re: Call me Wierdo, thinking about an Sum Passive trebble boo
If you are using a push/pull you can have the bass cut on or off, so yes you'd bypass the bass cut with no effect on your regular tone.iCEByTes wrote:is possible an comb of true bypass and bass cut ?Sublimedo wrote:Kudos. talking about slaught bass
i need investigate that , http://www.glguitars.com/schematics/S-5 ... iagram.pdf
thats was cool idea cut bass and improvise treble , need see if it´s works
if works i need transport the idea into the push pull for the bass cut over the roll and the trebble thing over the push pull replacing the tap-o-matic thing
