Pedal Boards
I wanna make my own ultimate pedal board out of a suitcase. Aside from foam, what does the ultimate pedal board need to contain? Special outlets? A coaster? A pic of Hurb, etc?
It is a lot. We have a small cabinet full of pedals where we store our pedals that aren't in rotation. There's a synth pedal, Hendrix Pedal, big muff, english muff, etc. in there. I wish we had better amps, Fredo's twin reverb is the best. The Peavey was our guitarist's which he sold...
, and mine are the stack of broken bass amps in the corner. We also have 3 unused keyboards (crappy brands) and a mini Korg, 32 electric guitars, a few acoustics, I have a Mapex drum set and a piano, and Fredo has a sitar and electric sitar.

i am both
lolz
pedalboards ... i made one myself that i use when i gotta carry it somewhere, it's just a piece of plywood with tape and velcro all over it, then i have a pedaltrain which is really cool because you can route cables underneath and send the adapter connection through a hole on the back, clean ! it's also raised a bit towards the back
but it's made of metal and starts to weigh quite a bit when you gotta carry it i guess, and i've the jr. so i bet a large version is quite heavy loaded with metal pedals
but whatever, what does a pedalboard REALLY need ? different colors of neon lights duh !

I say a really sturdy board with dozens of rubber feet would be the bare minimum to keep in mind, I'd probably glue two huge masonite artboards together and bind it with a rubber lip if I had the space and patience to take care of it.
Of course I'm quite lazy and ended up saving me pennies for a real deal, made locally and and hecka strong.
