My Silvtertone 1484 decided to catch fire today (seriously pissed). thinking about getting a tiny terror.
Anyone in this forum own one? or played one? I play pretty loud, noisy music and i need an amp that
will be relatively reliable.

do a search. plenty of topics on this. many of us have them.
if you need lots of volume with cleans, you may be disappointed. but i use mine with bass or guitar and i keep up with my bands.

I've just bought one, and although I have tin ears, I've never been happier with an amp. It's a pared down beauty.

I don't reckon the recording/cab in Mike's demo does the little beast justice (no diss Mikey, it's a top bit of demo action), try one out for yourself. When I tried it out through an Orange cab instore, it sounded soooooooooo good, would probably sound just as sweet through a decent Marshall 1x12/2x12 or whatever.

I hate you.
I know what you're saying - I'm not very happy with the Clean sound as it was recorded, in particular. I need to redo it with my 2x12".
I was messing about with it at high volume before our last gig with the 2x12" and it was monstruous.

I completely agree. I fucked with one for at least an hour through an Orange 2x12 at
Humbucker Music and didn't find any reason to pay that much for it. If you want low volume crunchy, just get an Epiphone Valve Jr.

Epiphone Valve Jnrs shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as the TT. They're leagues apart.

Good if you like to
RAWK.
Not good if you like cleans, twang or treble.

thanks for all the help. I would like to try one, I think there is a music store a couple miles away from Marquette that carries orange amps.

Shut up euan. You like your TT, otherwise you would have sold it.
Plus that's just spamming Dodgedartdave style. It's lame.
