HH VS Musician 212 combo

Post by NickS »

My new acquisition courtesy of Tim (Benecol) (thanks again, Tim!) :
Image
Missing the HH and 212 badges, and the pedal doesn't light up but sounds fine, no crack in the perspex like my VS Musician head. Tried it out with the bass for 5 minutes last night, sounds usable as a bass amp as well.

Look at the way it sits on that Marshall 2x12 cab as well - just made for it! ;)

I'm glad it's gone to someone with a big enough house to look after it properly - doubly worth it for the opportunity to meet up in a Little Chef that isn't actually there; very platform 9 3/4.

Let me know what you find inside if you ever invesitgate the mystery switch...

Nick's Mascis-finish-JM car was there. Apart from that it was very dark, and by a roundabout in Swindon. And we are both so handsome that you'd feel awkward replying to our posts in future.

Sunday rocking just got a lot heavier, and with the Moollon '69s in my Strat I am a very happy li'l boy. But dang, with the included softcase, my new Apricot 40x80 board with pedals as shown weighs 14kg, and makes carting it around a real pain(I use public transportation, thankyouverymuch). 3mm double grip keeps things really well stuck and trouble-free, and a OneSpot exclusively for the Boss pedals makes powering up the whole darn mess a cinch...I'd never power more than a few with it, a hot-running digital switching DC power box is destined to go out with a *boom*, ready to blow up all who are fused-up to the daisy chain.

Image
Moollon Wah > Ampeg Scrambler > Moollon Fuzz 32 > Pedalworx McSqueeze > Janglebox > BJF Emerald Green > BJF Dyna Red > Ernie Volume(tuner out for TU-2) > Boss Dimension C > Moollon Tremolo > Maxon AD-900

Now I gotta build a board for my bass rig, and sell the Blue Box, etc.

Not pictured substitutional dirt boxes:
Blackstone Mosfet Overdrive
Lovetone Brown Source
Stompleague Mosfet Mini Boost
Zoom Ultra Fuzz
Frantone Cream Puff

I hate pink guitars, pink is not a man's color! Im not being sexist or whatever, but pink is just not a color I'd want on a guitar!

Its like all the metrosexual guys that were wearing pink clothing a few years ago, still I guess? That shit is just not right!!!

Oh, I was hoping no one would notice.

I usually have to use that screeching mess or a JC-120.

And aye, it may be a weekly nightmare as I furiously tweak that thing into something useful every Sunday afternoon before I crank-to-roar my rig in front of a crowd of 1200 Koreans singing to Jesus, but things somehow seem to work out. Worst voiced Marshall all-in-one I've yet to play.

Guitarist is basically a subsidiary of Korg. They love everything Marshall and Vox do.
