I'm thinking about picking one up.

any and all opinions welcome

what's so great about mesas? i've never played one.

There clean tones are amazing and the distorted tones are deep.
They have amazing volume for their size.
You can usually get a great overdrive sound from them even at the lesser volumes.

One I'd really like but not willing to pay that much is a Lone Star Special...you can with a flick of a button go between 5,15 and 30 watts....plus get like four distinct sounds from each...yoiu you have 12 soiunds set.

The DC3 has two completely seperate channels, each with two channels withen....plus an EQ that can be set for for lead, rythem or both.

I think you just helped me make up my mind.

I want to see what a Marshall JTM60 1x12 closes out at in eBay...it's in the high 300's right now with two days to go. I have the same with 2x12 which I will part with if I decide to get the DC3

Just hoping some of the guys here that know amps/and or mesas chime in.

Just picking it up? How long're you going to hold it for, I'd imagine they're quite heavy.
