Mortgage Rates are fucked. We were on 4.45% and we're renogiating our mortgage now. Best we can get is 5.85% fixed with £995 up front arrangement fee.jcyphe wrote:Damn, is there a bad economy in England too?Mike wrote:Yeah, because I have the money. Have you not been paying attention to me at all the last few months? I sold the JVM. I'm selling my Telecaster Deluxe.
Also my roof needs replacing this year ~ £3,000
And my car had to have it's cam belt replaced = £454
I live right next to that shop, it's at the Metro Centre. I'm usually in at least a couple of times a week and I didn't see that guitar, they often say on the website that they have things in stock there when it isn't true. The prices on the website also differ wildly from in-store prices, some are much lower, some are higher.bubbles_horwitz wrote:they claim to have one in-store at gateshead, where ever that is.
anyone near there should try it out.

I cant seem to get on top of things either, saving money is a joke. Been selling stuff for a while now to fund my first proper holiday in about 6 years but i admit i have bought the odd bits.
The housing market is also effecting my job: if no one is buying or selling there is less remedial work being carried out. Two guys are being made redundant on our company this month and its only a 6 man team.
Things are a bag of wank at the moment.
eh. i'm very luke-warm on these. i like the idea of the 9.5" radius and the bigger frets...
not sold on the TOM.
why have a 9.5" radius neck with a 12" radius bridge???
anyone???
and fuck a bunch of this "lets move the tremolo 723426 inches up the body.
looks fucking gaytarded.
if you want more sustain & string angle spend $30 and buy a goddam buzzstop.
fuck you Fender for selling out to GC.
goddamn proprietary pieces.
fuck you Ron Gentry for not telling me about these.
EPIC FAIL.
AND WHERE'S ALL THE BITCHIN' COLORS????

Being in love, I've found, is a lot like working at a factory - eventually, you get replaced by either a foreigner or a machine...

I am sure they will be.Sublimedo wrote:Honestly though, these things should only really be in the 500-650 range. 700tops ala Tele Deluxe here.
When the baja came out, they were 799 or 849 and soon thereafter you could get them for 699 and at xmas I saw places selling them for 589
They say great minds think alike....Sometimes we do too...

Yeah, the one which times the engine. I had to have a service involving changing the Cam Belt, as the car has done over 60,000 miles. It's expense because it involves a lot of labour to take enough of the engine apart to replace the belt and the tensioners, and the water pump. They also did the fan belt as I recall.
