super sonic 730

back when i sold soap sonic i made a point to everyone that when selling anything on ebay you should use a quality camera with good natural lighting. if you are a fucking retard and use your cell phone to take photos of your gear you are going to loose big bucks. this supersonic has to be the best example of my theory ever. normally going for 400 bucks every time this one goes for 330 more with some creative writing making up some story about a NOS guitar with duncan designed pickups that aren't even in it. everyone knows that shit is VISTA TONES pickup's.

the photos in this auction are fucking balls to the wall and should be stolen for our WIKI right now.

$730 is crazy for a Super Sonic. I do love the blue sparkle color though.

The reason it went so high was that he made the mistake of offering international shipping. Better hope he's posting that UPS or fedex, because if anyone from a foreign country wins it and he posts the guitar USPS, all they have to do is claim an unsent item dispute and bam, free Super Sonic

Happened to me once before. Expected $100 for a pedal, got $220 shipped to italy, lost $220 and the pedal.

That's why I don't bother with International Shipping, ever.

Rob's right, though. With good pics, any guitar will sell. I sold a 90's American Standard Tele with a Hipshot for my bandmate, and someone actually hit BIN for $900! That was when they were only $950 new. I had about 10 hi-res outdoors photos, and it really worked. My old CIJ Jag sold for more than I thought it would, too.

Shit pics will ruin your auction, and nobody will pay top prices for your crap.

Yes they do. I feel like I'm being screwed twice as much whenever I list anything on there these days.

You're quickly becoming one of the most annoying posters on here. Also I've never lost anything in international shipping because I never bothered to do it on guitar stuff, so I guess I'm not a n00b. I'm a guy with all my stuff that didn't lose anything to thieving assholes.

Sorry, just had to say it! My point is that you don't need to be from another country to be a thieving asshole! That's just stereotyping! Very dumb statement, from somebody that tries to act smart all the time!

Oh yeah, and whatever you may think about me is one of very many things I couldn't really give 2 shits about!

Now please resume N00b jokes.....

OK.....if you're posting USPS, bidders KNOW you could put delivery confirmation on it. Sure you might run into the occasional local cunt who will receive a package without it and file an unsent item claim, but it wouldn't be premeditated. I've never once had a problem sending anything to the states but after the problem I had with Italy, I've received numerous emails from other countries on my stuff asking for shipping quotes telling me they'll ONLY have it shipped USPS. Yeah. No.

How do you know Jcyphe doesn't put delivery confirmation on his packages when he ships to the US? Sellers are protected if they ship to the US and get delivery confirmation. They're not protected at all with USPS if they ship overseas. How is it stereotyping if it's just not taking risks?

Anything more than $50 that I sell on ebay gets delivery confirmation either way.
I sell crap all the time and I've never lost anything. I've shipped a ton of stuff to italy and I've never had a problem at all. I've found that italy is more pricey then other euro countries and sometimes customs takes longer, but I've never had anything lost.
