EHX POG

Post by anthoney »

So I've been interested in the EHX Pog for a while now. I got my little stimulus check and was thinking I should just take the plunge. I decided to post looking for a used one on Craigslist. Within minutes I had an email from a guy that his used his twice...he said he would sell it for $225...so I don't think I can pass that deal up. Anyone have any opinions on them good or bad? Is the organ sound usable at gig levels? I've heard both sides...I guess it would depend on the rest of your setup and stuff though.

Thoughts?

Cool, I'm supposed to go pick it up this evening.

What do you think of the organ? Can it be pulled off in a band setting? or does it just get annoying at loud volumes?

DO IT NOWWWWWWW!!!!

It rocks - permanently. Very distinctive sound - Random plug, but I use one on the intro here

(was going to stream but figured that would just be annoying...)

Also pulls off jacky whitey style blue orchid things and iron lung impersonations.

Theres a low pass filter, so if youre getting too much ice pick highs, you can smoth it out.

Great, thanks for the info. I've never really been a pedal guy but I really think I could get some use out of this one.

I know what you're saying...I'm most worried about wanting to use it on everything and overdoing it.
