Alba Telecaster - cost a massive £44 inc P&P.
Could be a cheap chinese POS, but for that price couldn't resist - always wanted a maple neck tele, plus its my favourite colour (silver sparkle). Could be a project guitar - we shall see!

What wood is used with the body?
Btw, i had a 'Fenix' Telecaster a few tears back and although it was a budget guitar it was excellent.

maple alledgedly. the whole guitar is made of maple. apparently the models with dark fretboards arent rosewood - they're just maple necks stained brown

Fantastic score, with a little TLC you'll be snapping and spanking your way just fine.
But Alba's silver sparkle seems to be along the lines of "silver dust", and looks closer to pewter from over here across the Pacific (tho' nuthin' wrong with dat). At least Squier's got teh shiny dander flakes.

Agreed. The world needs a few more silver guitar threads.
