those ishibashi mustangs are so hot. i never wanted a mustang until i started seeing all those custom colors.

speaking of ishibashi. my friend is headed to japan in august. anyone know what it's like for someone to come back with, say, a fender japan guitar? will there be customs fees? [thus probably making the purchase a rip off...]

maybe he should go to a thrift shop and buy a really cheap, crappy guitar and take it with him. when he gets to japan, just throw/give/sell it away and bring back the new guitar.
that way he left with a guitar and came back with one.

That's a great idea, but they'd probably try to gouge him for taxes/customs each way instead.

if you own a guitar you are allowed to take it on an airplane to another country without paying any customs fee. maybe, maybe the customs people will ask you if you have anything to claim but that's when you just say, "nope." I mean do they ask you about every little object in your luggage? no. a guitar is just another one of your belongings.

I ordered from Akira, he sells stuff on ebay! I bought an LPB Jag for $675 + $100 shipping + $150 Customs It felt really expensive, specially since the LPB was more of a greenish blue (Kinda like a '95 Honda Civic Teal) The color looked different on the pic!!

Not blue!! :x

Like I said, in the pic they look the same! But in real life the jag wasn't! That is how cameras pick up that color, cuz the dudes pix looked blue, and the pix I took with my cam looked blue as you can see! Yet the guitar was teal! I asked the seller and he said "Yeah, it's Old Lake Placid Blue"
