Can someone cut plastic covers for my guitar? Will pay
I have a Hagstrom Swede that's missing just about everything but the guitar. I got some parts, but I need back covers, a pickguard, and a new nut.
If anyone would be willing to cut any of that stuff I'd be willing to pay. I've got the dimensions of the nut and tracings of where the back covers go.

Here's a link to an identical model to the guitar I have. I need all the back covers, except for the one covering the neck-bolts, the pickguard, and the nut. I also need the truss cover, but I've sourced one of those so it's not a huge priority.

I could make for ya, but you'd have to send me the guitar. PM me if you're interested.guitarister wrote:Here's a link to an identical model to the guitar I have. He knows where to get original parts, but they're teh spensive. I'm almost positive any LP nut will work with this, and they're yay cheap. Just buy some and try em out.
As for the plastics, loads of companies custom cut pickguards and covers from tracings. Google one near to you.
Actually, get in touch with this guy. His work is excellent and he's cut tons of stuff for me, including complicated Hagstrom guards:

That's not to say the fiddly pickguard Aug cut for my synth hagstrom wasn't also awesome.

Ah no, I wish I had a Patch 2000! It was a little project I made out of a basket-case Hag II body I had lying around. I've still got it, but it's not very useful, much like any GK-3 equiped guitar.

Yeah the original pickguard/bracket would've cost me ~$200 (about 100 pound) and the original bridge would've been similar. By the time I bought all the "original" parts, it'd just end up being cheaper to buy a full vintage one from someone with all the parts on it already.timhulio wrote:He knows where to get original parts, but they're teh spensive. Any idea how much/where to get brass nuts? I'm considering going for one of those for the more fretted open sound it gives. I'll try to contact that guy about the plastics and see what he can do.
