Pictures don't really do it justice either. Thanks for commenting.
These pictures were just with my cameraphone which I ADORE because I take pictures all day long, but it's not the best. When I have like 15 layers of clearcoat on it and I have it up and running I'll dio a proper lame outdoor photoshoot with my Dad's Digital SLR

We did some trials with it, basically you dilute it from it's base consistency to thin out the stain as much as you want. turns out it didn't need dilution. It's concentrated form was the effect I was looking for. We applied it with sponges by the way.

Neither. I had grain filler but after we sanded it with proper tools the grain just looked too fine for it to be necessary considering the finish we were going for. So we just stained it.
Burb'Z. Sure, I'll take lots of pictures when I'm at my folks again soon. My Dad is a genius.

Indeed, Robert really picked me a peach of a bit of Ash to make this body from. The original plan was for it to be a Block Colour of Crisp White, but after I saw the grain I just couldn't cover it up.

I haven't been here in a couple of days so kudos on the staining.

Shut your mouth, foolio. The only thing I might do is try and score some reaaaaaally red tortoise shell to cut a pickguard from. The brown is alright, but I like my tortoise RED. Shame I can't really seem to find any blanks anywhere.
Man I'm going to have to get some supplies for my body. I'm going to buy the bridge and use my Teles neck as the a make shift one for drilling holes. I've really missed the boat with some amazing weather we've had lately.
