I failed to comment on your post Mike, I had that guitar in the back of my mind, but seeing it in person just made me think "fuck it, white is ON".

I've seen Immy live too, but Kate was way more fun.

thats me, i have been slagging,
the neck has a half assed painted stock, no frets, and has been partially re-radiused.
im never sure when its a go or fail, if im lagging, and im the main reason that nothing is happening then someone should have yelled at me.
i'll get to finishing up that piece soon, i promise.

nah the main reason is that mewithoutus said he'd provide the neck and then welched and didn't tell anyone for months.

You're right, I love you very much too DDDave, but I hope you already know that. :) The love for Sub was that he said he's just ordered paint and is going to collect it, that makes me very excited. :D Plus the more love I give Sub, the better the finish will be, ey? ;)

This whole project is so awesome, I am so proud to say I am receiving an SS.org custom guitar. As controversial as it is, I really do recognise the skill in NoHo's work, and from what I've seen Sub is very talented with the paints, I feel privileged to get a piece of custom Shortscale art, because that's what it is.

Can anyone suggest a good source for third party Fender necks? I want to get a '70s style Fender bullet neck with a maple board, and gloss would be nice. Where's best?

?
am i still donating a neck?
i thought this project was trashed,
i got a neck, i still need to radius the bastard, and fret it.
i think there is still white on the headstock, i started to sand it off but i think its salvagable.

Hmm, is it a '70s style Strat headstock? Even if it's the Squier style, that'd be great Rob, but don't worry about it if it's the normal size, I think this guitar needs a fat headstock to counter the fat body. :) I don't mind making the investment, plus it'd be saving you time! Either way, it's your call, I appreciate it either way.
