that vibe unit has a proper mirror photo cell unit on the pcb, just like an actual univibe would have. that's pretty cool.

dude. . . every dano pedal i've ever owned has more than delivered in terms of the tone promised for the price asked, and in many cases they've far exceeded. there have been a few i've demo'd in store (the sitar pedal [blech!] for one) that have sucked, but they're the minority.

i lack the skills to dissect and give a reasonable explanation for why danelectro boxes kick so much ass, though. A- thread, guys. (minus being only because i want to see more pics)

Gonna take some simple sample vids at the studio today, although unfortunately not with the Rivera (different practice some this week). I'm on bass for the set, so my friend Daniel Hong will do the strummin' while I tweak the pedal's nipples knobs.
