THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT IM GOING FOR! minus the chrome control plate and matching stock.
plus my tort is a lil bit darker than that, but thats exactly it!
i made up another rivers como guard last night along with the guard for my fender XII project, i used the Fender XII guard as a tester guard before i did shit to robs guard just to make sure that shit was set right, its still really weird trying to get around the shop in a completely different manner.
i'll post up some pics at the end of the day.

i made up the guard, as a tester really, but its kinda cool, and i might keep it depending on the bridge situation.
the fit of the neck and guard is PERFECT, thats the only reason i may keep it.
so here are some more crap photos of a crap project that will probly never get done, cuz im crap like that.

i did this on accident on one side

so i decided to do it on both sides.

so i gave the body to a friend who does auto paint stuff and i gave it to him without sanding it at all and just said " im going to relic the body so don't make it look too nice."
well guess what, he made it look too nice,
there were a few spots that were nice n fuct up but it was WAY better than i expected.
i have started the first phase of relicing the thing, after i get done with this phase im going to shoot some white paint over the top and then mist some clear coats on it before i relic it some more.
at any rate, here are som snap shots of the thing.

not really think about this real fast.
on a squire jagmaster the neck sits about 5.5 mms over the pg
with the neck and guard in place my neck sits 3.2 mms over the guard, and since its a 12 string with buckers that will be about 7.8(or so) mms from the strings it should have a nice haunting jingly sound to it.
