I just called the local service center, the will take a look at it. And see what they can do tomorrow. If they think the work is part of the warranty they will fix it and bill Fender.

I wouldn't tell too much of the truth... I'd only say something about the nut if they ask.

Since the neck was removed from the body the warranty is now void...

Buddy said it'd be about a $100 bones to get it done but I have other priorities right now.

So ill just freaking ebay it see if a handy guy can fix it. Fuck it I don't wanna bother.

Feck! That sucks!

Do you not have a loaded Strat body you could bolt that neck onto? I just think you need to get creative. Are the necks and bodies matched on Fenders?
