that's what i ended up doing as well. the mean 90 is fairly high output but still has great definition. drop a dream 90 in the other position, and that will = SEX

i finally got to try the MEAN 90 with my regular gigging setup today during rehearsal. FUCKING AWESOME.
completely made my artcore my #1 go-to guitar. LOVE IT.

I recorded some of the rehearsal stuff, so I might go through and post SAMPLZ.

Here's a clip of the MEAN 90 in action.
It's a full mix with drums and bass and the guitar has a delay on it to widen it out, but this should give one a good idea how it sond in a REAL LIFE situation.
