Decent resources for the Effect Pedal hobbyist

Post by Mike »

Share em up. Schematic sites, Places to buy from.

Just found this, which looks great
http://www.schematicheaven.com/effects.htm

I lurk and get schematics here:
http://www.freestompboxes.org

I buy stuff here:

Both excellent music orientated electronics retailers, unfortunately based in Germany. But cheap.
http://www.musikding.de/index.php/language/en - paypal only
http://www.banzaieffects.com/ - accepts Credit Cards
http://www.maplin.com - for LED bezels, stripboard, purple LEDs, stuff I forget from the above two
http://www.rapidonline.com/ - They have standoffs and some good deals

Cool link

Interesting how far away from my SaltBooster this is, plus my layout is more economic.

Nice work. Particularly recommend the tech pages on Beavis Audio- he's just revamped them and they're really useful. There's also a bit of the site dedicated to sourcing cool and unusual knobs/enclosures.

We have a lot of them in this thread already, Tim.

How is it you can be a snarky cunt whenever you want?

I like this one- they're cheap and have 3PDT switches the cheapest, plus useful size 125B box.

I cannot make this work, and this causes me to burn with impotent fury.
