finished routing out the toggle cavity. everything lines up good.
soldered leads to all 4 points on the toggle. now i need some new pots to get everything going.

LIST OF SHIT WE STILL NEED.

3 pots MINI SIZE cuz of the jack being all up in there n shit
1 cap for the tonez
3 knobs
6 ferrules
1 neck
6 tuners
6 tuner bushings
1 string tree

new photos to land soon
I think the neck is RobOG's business, but I dunno where he is with it, and I think he's busy recently. I'll wait for him to chime in, I can always buy a fresh one.

With the pots, what resistance do you suggest? I forgot what the difference is between 250k, 500k and 1000k.

im super busy, the neck still needs to be radiused and fretted, if someone wants to complete the work then they are free to it,
otherwise you may want to buy one or look elsewhere but i don't see this thing comming to an end anytime soon.

Yeah, thanks a lot dude and I respect that. I've picked up on the fact you've got a lot going on, and this thing shouldn't be anywhere near the top of anybody's priority list. It's just a Malikcaster, haha. :D

Does anyone in Americaland know how to refret and radius a neck then? ;) I'll be really nice to you, invite you to my birthday parties and send you christmas cards if you help out. Or I can pay, whatever you fancy most. ;)

Otherwise, no problemo. This guitar looks stunning, and it's a testament to all those who've contributed that it's to be as playable and lovely as possible. I will do whatever it takes to ensure I can really rock out on this thing. :D

i'll refret it if no one more experienced wants to. i've just about got the hang of it now.
would the neck need to be refinished? i've never done that before. is it any more difficult than bodies?

the head stock is painted white, phil(from about a year) ago, had his way with the neck, i had him do some stuff to it before it had him work on an actual neck.
i think the finish on the back of the neck is fine.
the radius job as it is, well.. its pretty bad.
it dips in the center.

I think more people should get involved. If not, the body should just be sent to Malik. That's my opinion.

I have a neck that could go on it, but I'm too broke to donate without kickback. :(

I agree. Maybe Malik should buy shad's neck?
I know he's probably more anxious than me to get that thing put together already.

Shad does sell stuff for cheep. I once purchased a broken bottle neck from him 2 bucks. I've been happily smoking crack out of it ever since. :D

Holy shit, I forgot you have the Shadmaster neck still. That'd be like, the perfect neck ever. **happy**

How much are you willing to part for it for?

And if I buy it, who is it I need to speak to about decals, and if it's not already glossed up, finishing? 8) If anyone's up for that (again, I can fund this) of course we'll need to arrange for Shad to send the neck that way, rather than to me. :)
