Yes I bought that bigstyle. I've been after one of those musicmasters for ages, especially an unmodified one, because I've got a vista musicmaster neck on my Duo-type guitar and it's great.
Unfortunately, due to harsh new one-in, one-out legislation I've got to lose this silver hagstrat.

I'm now almost 100% certain thats what I'll do. As tempted as I am to spend the extra 100$ and get a MIM standard, from what I've played and from what you guys are telling me, I should get Classic Vibe and save the 100 bucks to spend on pickups....aen wrote:Get the squier vintage vibe. Epiphone makes a Dot/Firebird? whoa, that would be sweet.
Not a fan of that artcore, personally.
I will say epiphone dots are great sounding guitars. I would play it first though.
what kind of sound you looking for?
Telecaster = twangy cleans and biting distortion.
Dot = fuller frequency range.

My bad, I meant I'm looking at the Dot and the Firebird. Honestly I'm still undecided on the sound issue. I could tell you exactly what I would want in a bass, but as for getting my first guitar, I'm just not sure.
