Well, it works. Rigging the two boosters in one pedal renders a lovely overdrive. However, starving the power of the first stage ("Splat") adds some more gain in this configuration, rather than, uh, splatting out the sound like starving individual pedals does.

So what does this mean? You get a range from "almost clean boost" to Rawkin overdrive, and with a twist of the Splat knob, over the edge into fuzz.

I will post sondz ASAP! And make a video!!

Your pal, Aen.

Here is the sound!

http://bestnetworx.com/uploader/files/6 ... losion.mp3

Courtesy of our very own Shortscale uploader.

Instruments are chronologically 90s Duo Sonic RI, 50's classic tele, and finally mutilated musicmaster bass with incredibly low output, no frets, and a telecaster pickup.

Run into MSRE and then line 6 POD set on a sort of small brownface model. It's the model that doesnt totally suck.

Anyway, when it gets squashed and fuzzy, thats the splat knob. Slightly dirty to REALLY OVERDROVE is on the gain knob. I tried to play some osngs I dont usually play.

trebbly and bright but not teeth janglingly so and the bass comes in at higher levels. Overall it sounds really nice and musical to my ears.

I have to give it the torture test through my twin, along with Shiva, shoot vids, count parts and all that, but I hope to have some available for shortscalers in a couple weeks...

I also put it after a buffered pedal, the Wasabi delay, just to see if it F'd things up, and it looks like we're gold. None of that "Oh shit my boutique pedal doesn't work right after my cocksucking wah" syndrome.

that looks and sounds awesome. have you tried a saltbooster after it fo lead tonez? if i wasn't broke i would buy both. i don't suppose you'd settle for a partial trade for a small clone + $?

I did three FAT BOOSTERS in a row, but it tended to fart out on low tonez. Plus I already gots some fuzzes, I wanted to diversify!
