It's all over the Pub, there's a 29 page thread on it.

I'm making my own twist on the EHX LPB-1

Salt Boost from Mike came today, and I went out and bought enough patch leads for it and my JH-1, so now I've got "all my shit in one sock".

Considering I don't like pedals, I've racked up quite a few this year :s I'm not so sure what's best to put where in the line so if anyone can give any advice on it that'd be great :D

Guitar> Saltboost > Jackhammer > Tunamelt > Springking > sweetampyouluckybastard would be my choice for a gain boost with the Jackhammer.. put it afterwards for a VOLUME boost.

Cheers, bud. I think I want a volume boost from the Jackhammer as opposed to gain boost 'cause it's set to METAL.

I would do Jackhammer -> Tunamelt -> Spring King -> Saltboost if you want it as a volume boost, then it'll boost ALL your tones and not overdrive the potentially nasty input buffers on the Spring King or Tunamelt, it will punch your amp in the guts though.

Actually, that is a good idea- I had it at the end of my chain for that very reason.

It might yield cool results in the middle but most probably more squelch and compression than real volume.

I've only hit the amp head on with it because I use so few pedals these days. I'll try it with teh OCD etc when they arrive.

Hmm, the Spring King doesn't really need a boost 'cause it seems to be the depth (which I adjust all the time for different amp or general playing settings) of it that affects it more than the volume, which I keep on about 7 or 8 o'clock all the time. However I've still not played around with it as much as I ought to have. I'll play around with it how youse have said and then put the Spring King last and see how that is.

Cheers guys, I wasn't really sure where the boost'd be best 'cause in my daft brainbox I thought putting it first would boost everything as it'd "push the boost through" the other pedals :s Tit.

The best thing to do is just to experiment and work out what you like best, but my immediate reaction to what you said you wanted was to put it last.

You should also just try playing with the Booster as the only thing in your chain, using it to get crunch from your clean channel, or kick your crunch channel into metal territory.

it's great for getting that lovley break up sound, especailly if you dig into your strings a little more to drive it a little more if you need.
