so i got this little beater from duosonicboy
and by little beater, i mean LITTLE....this thing is super tiny, but all in all it's a pretty cool little guitar...perfect for couch jams. the bridge seems to be the weak point at the moment, so i'm considering a duosonic bridge.
i also notice that with just a little bit of modification i can fit a fender neck on it....i'm not really digging it's current headstock.
as you can seen even the shorter scale cyclone neck completely dwarfs the guitar.
would it be feasible to go down to a 22.5" scale neck? since i'm putting a new bridge in, i could relocate it so it's still intonatable...right?

Glad to see you got it alright. Since yr doing a new bridge anyway, scaling down would be pretty easy. Once you get the new neck attached (whatever scale it is), measure from the nut to the 12th fret. Place the bridge so that 12th fret to the high-E saddle is this same distance. Compensate the other saddles as usual and VIOLA! - should intonate perfectly. Going from 24" to 22.5" should only move the bridge forward about 3/4 of an inch.
thanks again man, i was amazed at how quickly it got here.DuoSonicBoy wrote:Glad to see you got it alright. Since yr doing a new bridge anyway, scaling down would be pretty easy. and good to hear that it wouldn't be terribly difficult.
i also have this set of filtertrons i got from shad.....i'm might just put them in there...but their humbucker size, might look a little goofy.
