Actually, the best trem amp that I've ever found is a Fender Vibro King. I'd love to have one of those. Kinda pricy though. Someday...........

I don't even know how tremelo is made to be honest, plus I don't understand what you mean by mono -> stereo with a silent stereo out? Isn't that just mono?

I've been wokring on a trem bit by bt iver the last year or so, Im pretty fucking fed up actually. I'd put a photoresistor in the line. Cover it up with my hand.. no sound. GOOD! Hook that shit up to a blinking LED? All sound, all the time.

Huh. thats a wierd issue. I've got a Gyatone Flip Tube Trem. I like everything about it except how noisy it is. I used to have a boss pedal and that pedal had a cool square wave, but was outrageously noisy.

i actually did a bit of research for the trem project I put together. trems arent too bad at all, really. its a couple of buffers and LFO's

if you're doing dependent on an LED then you should check out the vactec opto-coupler. Its in some envelope filter circuits. The Led would pretty affect the filter's sweep when the LED changes due to the amplitude.

I think he means a stereo trem pedal that isn't noisy, rather than one with a muted output.

DDD- EHX Nano Pulsar.. stereo outs, doesn't seem to add any noise.

The depth and rate controls go beyond "standard" tremolo, so you might find it a bit too fruity.

I'm surprised you've had noise problems with the Boss and Guyatone boxes. Are you using crappy cables and a cheapy powersupply, buy any chance? What are you using them with?

Nah, I think Â£70 is a fair price, and that's all I'm interested in selling stuff at, I don't want to rip anyone off, and if noone wants to buy it, that's cool - I'll just create a library of clones with tweaks or make pedals to order like I'm doing for Hurb.

the vibroking trem is based off the brownface trem.

I'll have to check out that trem. The boss pedal I had could just been that pedal. It was real beat and real noisy. The guyatone has it's own powersupply. It's not super noisy, but it does give that pulse noice that's annoying sometimes. Some the cables I use are cheepies. I've slowly been making all my own chords and replacing them. It's takes a minute with 2 pedal boards. I'll take a pic of my rig later.

I'm interested in one that has more options then that. I really like stereo Trem.

I tried one at analog heaven that was very cool. Totally silent too.

I liked the gig FX chopper pedal that I had as it was very flexible and foot controllable... They are pricey though. Hopefully It has made it over to England or will have soon...l

Only issue is that it does not have a stereo out. That's the reason why I asked Mike about what he could make. I wonder if the FX chopper could be modded......
