As to price.....in this month's "Wood & Steel"...Taylor's publication, Bob Taylor said of price in reference to company growth and size.............we will plunk down two grand or more on an apple computer without a half of a seconds thought, and will do it again in three years.... yet the perception of a guitar, spending over two grand (for life maybe) for top quality... is considered expensive.

Beautiful guitar Alfredo.

Bob Taylor is right, guitars aren't that expensive considering how much other things cost. Also they basically last forever unless you're a dunce. They don't end up in landfills, unless again you're a dunce.

It was clearly a joke.

I do still have a built in aversion to spending over £500 on a guitar or amp, but this extends to everything in my life - computers etc and otherwise. Mainly because I just don't have any money.

Yeah, I wanted burgundy mist too, but I've only seen it available in either the white or the sunburst which is both blah. Shell pink- hell yes! I think Fredo should stick to GUITARS and let the BASSISTS in the band play the Bass VI. It's OK though... I too have a secret weapon soon to be revealed

Looks very nice. I don't know how bass guitars work to be honest, can they do chords?

Perhaps one should seek a loftier goal.

Amazing. We ought to have a round of Shortscale awards type things, just so that we can give sub/roach the prize for best collection.

Talking of rare guitars, I've been in Budapest for the last few days, and I happened across an Aerodyne Tele. I already own one, but I wasn't sure how rare they are, and I'm kind of annoyed that I've seen another one. This is unlikely to happen with the Bass VI though.

That is amazing - The color combo, the proportions, everything about it is soooo perfect. The Bass VI has such a great tone, too.
